She completed a BSc and MSc in Physiotherapy and has worked in many different clinical settings.
Erika has worked in neurological rehabilitation within the NHS for the last 17 years, both in the hospital
environment and in the community.
Posts held include:
- Senior 1 physiotherapist in a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit,
- Senior 1 physiotherapist in a Stroke Rehabilitation Unit
- Senior 1 and Clinical Specialist physiotherapist in a Community Neurological Rehabilitation team
She has done a range of post qualification neurological physiotherapy courses. Particular interests are spasticity
management and the use of electrical stimulation in neurological rehabilitation.
